Step 1
Watch or phone
A Xiaomi Watch 2 can capture sleep, heart rate, and steps on the wrist. If there is no watch, the phone app still records journals and observations.
Devices
RubyHealth is not locked to one watch brand. The current trial device is the Xiaomi Watch 2. Families can also log from the phone app alone. Other wearables can be added after they are tested.
How data reaches the doctor
Step 1
A Xiaomi Watch 2 can capture sleep, heart rate, and steps on the wrist. If there is no watch, the phone app still records journals and observations.
Step 2
The phone app receives watch data when a device is paired, adds journal notes and medication context, and prepares records for secure upload.
Step 3
Authorised doctors review tracking and can message their patients. Families control who can see the record.
Current trial watch
Current trial device ยท heart rate and steps (no HRV on this model)
Logs journals, medication, and daily context without a watch.
Not limited to one brand. Further devices after they are tested and linked.
RubyHealth helps families and clinicians review patterns over time. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace qualified medical judgement. A single abnormal reading is never treated as a flare-up on its own.
Health data is shared only with account owners and clinicians they approve. Families control who can view wearable trends, journal entries, and summary dashboards in the RubyHealth portal.
